My dear mother made me a new dress! :) And it got finished on my birthday. ^^

I got a pretty bowl with candy in it from my friend Linnéa, money from my uncle, his wife and my cousin. Also some money from one of my sisters and my mum and dad are going to pay when I order something from either a movie/tv-series online store or from an online bookstore. :) My two other sisters are going to give me something this weekend. ^^

So, I didn't get a chance to celebrate International Lolita Day on the right day (3rd of December), however, me and my sisters had a little gathering the day after, to honor the event. ^^v

This was the first time ever that I made a cheesecake and it was delicious!

~Lace & Petticoats - A Lolita Documentary~

I was just reading Xelyna's blog, and the Lolita Documentary that she's in is finished.

I really like it, it was very cute and inspirational. I always enjoy watching Lolita Documentarys, see how Lolitas from different parts of the world have it. For example I've never had any trouble being outside while wearing Lolita. Sure some persons stare and might have their opinions about it, but they don't scream out insults or throw things at us Lolitas. I'm more likely to get a nice compliment from an old lady or a young child. So that was quite interesting to see that these girls have a really hard time walking in their beloved fashion, alone, without being harrassed by someone.

How is it where you live? Can you walk outside in your Lolita outfit without being troubled by someone?

My sister, Anette, got invited to be a part of the opening act to the annual light festival in our town. She manage to let me and my sister, Sanna, be a part of that aswell. So what we had to do was to dress up as something fairytale-like. Anette was asked to wear her Red Queen costume, and Sanna went as Red Riding Hood and I decided to go as a Princess.

Waiting for the opening to begin. There where quite a few fairytale creatures at this thing. Also Princess Peach and other characters. Alot of characters from Alice in wonderland. The girls sitting on the floor where from the ballet academy, and they where supposed to be like aliens or futuristic or something.

After we had been at the opening we where both tired and hungry so we stopped at a resturant to eat some food. ^^

Just because she's so darn cute. ^^

It was alot of fun to walk around acting like a princess. Our "mission" was to spread joy in the audience and act like fairytale creatures. There was also a teaparty table at this park. But they didn't have any chairs around it so it felt a bit stupid standing by the table drinking tea, but the people there seemed to enjoy seeing all of us there. There where alot of kids there, and they seemed so happy when they saw us. Especially happy to see Red Riding Hood, and they asked the Red Queen "why do you want to kill Alice?". And there where alot of pictures taken of all of us.

Hi everyone! First of all I'd like to thank all 46 of my followers. It's nice to notice that people enjoy reading my posts. I do know that there are more people reading my blog, and I'd just like to say that I appreciate it. ^^ so Thanks to all of you!

I have a new phone, a ZTE Blade, I like it alot, my very first smartphone! :)

~22nd of October 2011, Lolita meetup~

The 22nd of October I went to another Lolita meetup with my local community at a café.

My cousin Jonas came and sat with us for awhile. ^^

A new and adoreable face to come to our meetup was Mimmi. She came later (when Jonas left) and she had an amazing story to tell, she had been in a car accident just the day before but she wanted to stop by to say hello anyway. It was very nice to meet her. :)

A Money Tree.
I know money can't buy happiness and love and all things really important. however, there are alot of things I want and money can make that come true. Obviously I want things like more Lolita clothes, shoes, bjds, and tv-series and other things. But I also want to experiance things, so travel is something I could do if I had a money tree with a never ending amount of money.

But other than Money, I would really like to get well, right now I'm constantly sick and my body aches every minute of everyday, and that is really tiresome. So if I wasn't sick and if my body stopped aching I could live my life more fully. So this is obviously what I want the most. If I got well, I would have no problem getting a job and ergo get the money I want. But right now I'm hindered by my health. But I'm used to this, and that is why money comes to mind first, I suppose. ^^v

Yeah, I like myself better in Lolita. ^^v
However, I did get a diploma for "in a creative way using all of the colours of the rainbow in my hair" when I was 16. ^^ I never had all of the colours at the same time, though, I changed my haircolour Alot. I miss that a little bit. but I like trying to have natural colours in my hair as well, so I'll probably continue with that. :)

Okay, so the 22nd of July I decided to photograph what I did. Only for this 30 day challenge.

Me and Sanna began our drive home to our sister Anette.

But first I went to take out my package from the post office.

In the package was my book. George R R Martins fifth book of his book series A song of Ice and Fire. A Dance with Dragons. (yes, it's the book series the HBO series Game of thrones is based on.)

The book-bus was painted with pictures a local artist have made. She makes amazing artwork. Linda Bergqvist is her name. :)

At Anettes place I began putting on my make up.

1. Work out (I would rather have something I don't adore so much. Since I don't want to sweat so much in my Lolita clothes.)
2. Paint houses/tables and such. (I don't want to destroy my Lolita clothes with paint that won't wash off.)
3. When/if I have stomach flu. (I don't want vomit on my Lolita clothes.)
4. Go swimming (I would rather wear a bikini/swimsuit for that.)
5. Cleaning (I wouldn't want to wear Lolita while cleaning my bathroom or other straining cleaning. but to just vacuum clean a room is no biggie.)
6. Be rude. (I generally don't like being rude so it doesn't matter what I wear..)

1. The internet, that's where you buy the pretty clothes. where you expand your wardrobe. (and find Loli friends)

6. Accessorys - something pretty for your hair, a diadem or hairclips. and also a necklace or other jewlery if it feels neccisary for the look of the outfit.

8. Deodorant, a good hygine is quite pleasant, don't you think.?
9. Make up, I don't need it everytime I wear lolita, but it can complete an outfit in a better way sometimes.
10. Meet ups, they are just lovely. It's nice meeting up with other Lolitas sharing information about places where you can buy things. or buy second hand by someone local. Then again I don't need meetups to wear Lolita, I do that anyway, but, it's a bit nicer when you meet up with people who share your adoration for the fashion. 1. I hate that the Lolita fashion is so expensive. You never seem to have enough money to buy all the pretty things you want. (however there are less expensive ways to expand your Lolita wardrobe. Bodyline, buying second hand and handmade clothes and accessorys, so it's all good.)
2. Brandwhores. Okay, I dont hate, it's just that I disslike it when some people belive that you can only be a lolita if you wear brand. So I don't mind if some people prefer brand clothing, as long as you don't look down on those who don't. I like both brand and offbrand pieces.
3. It's annoying when people think that Lolita has something to do with trying to get older men, that it is something erotic about the fashion. Because they have only heard of Lolita through the book with the same name by Vladimir Nabokov. There is nothing sexy about the fashion.
4. I disslike it when people think that you have some kind of cosplay or that you are dressed up. That the fashion is just for show. For me it's my fashion, I don't dress up when I wear Lolita.
5. I wish that it would be easier to buy Lolita clothing. That there would be a Lolita store in Sweden.

Honestly I can't think of more than these 5 things that I disslike about the fashion. It was hard enough to find these 5.

~Day 2 – 10 things you love in lolita.~

1. I love that Lolita fashion is so versatile, there are alot of styles of the fashion such as, Sweet, Classic, Gothic and so forth. Yet still we have a chance to explore our own personal style within that style, or create our own new unique style. And that's just wonderful.

2. I love the whole shape of the fashion and the clothes in general, the bellshaped skirt, cute prints/fabrics, you name it. ^^

3. I love that you can find other Lolitas through forums/internet. Meet up with them. And get a chance to find new and dear friends, that's lovely.

4. I love it when I can see that other people get happy when they see someone in Lolita. Maybe they just smile a bit shyly or maybe they even walk up to you to say how pretty you look. It's both nice for your own confidence but also nice for the one who sees you and feel happy about that. It would be nice if we all would learn how to smile at each other more often and give compliments, everyone would be more happy for it. ~

5. I love the lolita fashion because it makes me happy, it makes me feel like myself.

6. I love the meetups, I know I mentioned it earlier, but I love it for not only meeting other Lolitas, but also for the delicious cakes and berries. It's like a celebration, even though it's not christmas or your birthday or any other holiday. It's nice to celebrate the "little things" in life.

7. I love that the brands are expanding and moving to other countrys aswell. Like Angelic Pretty and Baby the stars shine bright who have stores in Japan, Paris and San Fransisco. I would be even happier if they moved to Sweden too. (Preferably Umeå, but I suppose they would rather have it in Stockholm then.)

8. I love that the fashion is so creative. People create cute jewlery and Lolita clothes. Some are into deco. (decorating their phones, laptops or anything they feel like.) Making things more pretty/cute/beautiful/elegant in their everyday life.

9. I love how happy and inspired I can get by other Lolitas blogs. I know I don't comment much, but I do read and I usually feel more inspired and happy afterwards. It can bright up a bad day.

10. I love that wearing Lolita can make everything in life more elegant, like drinking your cup of tea will feel more refined. Just doing your everyday things will feel better while wearing Lolita.

1. Lolita fashion makes me happy, it completes me and I feel great wearing it.

2. The Lolita fashion has given me dear friends and is bringing new friends every now and then. It connects people in a way, with forums and meetups and such, that's really lovely.

3. Yes, I like drinking tea. Preferably strawberry flavored with a little cream.

4. Lolita fashion inspires me. I get inspired by all the other lolitas in the world. Everyone's so pretty. :)

5. My favorite styles are Classic Lolita and Sweet Lolita. But I wouldn't mind trying every Lolita style, exept ero-loli, at least once. ^^

6. Right now I live at home while I study, but I buy alot of things for my future apartment, and I'm really looking forward decorating that apartment. I will fill it with things I adore.

7. I wouldn't mind living in a cute little cottage. growing my own berries and vegetables.

8. I love to sing. I can play a little bit on the base and I would be very happy if I would learn how to play the violin.

9. I adore BJDs (Ball jointed dolls). They are another creative outlet, which also Lolita is.

10. I belive in treating others as you would like to be treated yourself. So being polite and nice is important to me. But that doesn't mean that you can walk right over me neither. But I do belive in karma so, if you do bad things, bad things will be coming your way at one time or another, and if you do nice things, nice things will be coming your way. ^^v

1. Best Lolita fashion advice you've ever received?

I've had a lot of Lolita fashion advice, such as be yourself and dare to break the rules a little, but the most recent one is to use a Crinoline underskirt instead of the more common ones made of tulle. I have a few tulle ones, but after just a little while they turn useless for keeping my skirt puffy, so I'm going to save up for a crinoline one as soon as possible. My friend Andrea has one, and her skirts looks amazing with the crinoline underneath.

2. Style icons?

Oh my, I don't know if I have anyone in particular. But both my friend Andrea and my friend Malin are great inspirations for the Lolita fashion. But other than that I look at Lolita fashion tumblrs, such as: Sweet Lolita Tumblr. So other Lolitas are my style icons, they inspire me.

3. Describe your personal style.

My Lolita style is a mixture of Classic and Sweet. ^^ I prefer wearing cardigans/boleros with my JSKs, instead of Blouses, however, I do wear blouses sometimes, when I feel like it. So I suppose my Lolita style is a bit down to earth, but still cute and lovely. I'm not so much over the top sweet, but a more classical sweet Lolita.

4. Favorite designers/brands?

My favorite brand is Baby the stars shine bright. They have very pretty prints, but doesn't go as much over the top with thier sweet fashion as AP can do. Also I really love the brand Innocent World aswell. But I do enjoy all of the Lolita brands in their own way.

5. Most cherished items?

I think that is my only Angelic Pretty piece, a pink polkadot JSK, and also my newest Baby the stars shine bright JSK, black with flowers. But also my RHS from ebay and my Baby necklace. I suppose I cherish all my Lolita clothes/items. The once my mother has made aswell. so I can't really think of one, to be honest.

6. Most used item?

I think it is either my Baby necklace or my RHS. But as far as dresses go I have to say: my AP JSK or my Meta JSK.

7. I feel best wearing?

Either my black Baby JSK or the one I wore for this years international Lolita day.

8. The first thing I look for in another Lolita's outfit...

The coordination, how everything is put together and how that looks. But I suppose the dresses and skirts, the headpieces and necklaces catches my eyes pretty fast.

9. Lolita Fashion rule you never break?

I'm trying to remeber all the rules but right now I can't really tell wich ones I never break. I suppose I have my own idea of how I want to wear Lolita fashion, so I stick to how I want it. I don't care much for rules. but I would never try to wear Lolita in a erotic/sexy way.

10. Never caught wearing?

I have no idea. but clothes that don't fit me, or that I feel looks tacky.

11. Dress to impress who?

Myself. I don't dress for other people, mostly I dress for myself. I wear what I feel is pretty and how I want it. So that I feel good about myself.

12. Your next "must have" purchase?

Crinoline. A black Bolero. More stockings and new dresses. I don't have any specific dresses in mind, probably something homemade. (I'm saving up money for a new Computer and phone, so there will not be any new brand dresses for quite a while now.)

13. Favorite type of head accessory?

Flowers. hairclips with flowers, diadem with flowers and so on. Ribbons are also cute, but mostly it's flowers or/and butterflies in my hair.

14. Favorite cut of clothing (shirring, high waist, princess seams etc)?

I like shirring, but mostly on brand pieces, homemade ones are made after my bodyshape, so I don't need shirring then. JSKs rather than OPs. Cardigan/Boleros rather than Blouses.

15. Current obsession?

I don't know. But I really want that crinoline, so right now that's my obsession I suppose. But other than that. I want more dresses like the one I wore for the international Lolita day, wich I linked in question number 7. but with all kinds of different fabrics, prints and so forth.

16. Best Lolita fashion advice you can give to anyone:

Be yourself, have fun with the fashion. Concider "the rules" of the fashion more as guidelines than rules. But also knowlage is power, before you jump into the fashion, read about it, try to get your own idea of how you want it to be and make it work. Good Luck! :)

~International Lolita Day - 4th of June 2011~

As all of you probably know this years (summer) International Lolita Day was on the 4th of June. So I met up with a few local Lolitas, and had a really nice time. :)

My friend Fanny had just bought a IW skirt second hand, so she decided to come to our meetup. She's not a lolita but she enjoys the fashion anyway. And she has a really cute style of her own. :)

~Introducing Tiara (BJD)~

These are my two dolls, BJDs, Zoë (Minifee Ryeon from Fairyland) and Tiara (Littlefee Bisou from Fairyland.)

So this is my newest one. And she's so adorable! :)

I got her 18th of March this year. ^^
(That's the same day as my cousin gave birth to her baby girl, same year aswell.)

I've had a break during easter, that's why I haven't written anything here for over a week. ~Longing for a home of my own~

A Swedish (not lolita) author of a blog called UnderbaraClara made this really clever accessory hanger.
A really lovely frame and then just a few threads as hangers for example earrings. ^^
I will definatly try this sometime, I have two golden frames that has nothing in them, so this will be great. ^^

And this brings me to "I long for a place to call my own"-part, at this moment I have a room at my school, where I live while I study, but during breaks and such, then it's back home to my parents place. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and I love our house, it's just that, as you all know, I'm 21 years old, and now I want an apartment of my own. (I've wanted that for over a year now)

This summer I don't know how many paintings I've brought but I love them all, but just one of them is on my wall in my room at home. (where I live with my parents) I have a beautiful rococo-inspired sofa/couch and lots of pretty thing for my future kitchen. I just really want to decorate an apartment for myself, make myself a place to call home, where I'm in charge of everything.

But I still have a year left at this school, so it's no point for me to get myself an apartment at this moment. But after I've finished this school, then I'll get myself an apartment, maybe go to university learn a few languages and learn how to start a buisness. ^^ So I'm really looking forward til the day I'm done getting my grades at this school. don't get me wrong again, I love this school, I really like it here, but I still want that apartment, and the feeling of that my life is acctually going somewhere.

oh, I guess this post got a bit more personal than I intended in the first place. Maybe some of you can recognize yourselves?
But otherwise the accessory hanger was nice wasn't it? ;)

The 5th of January I went to bring home my doll Zoë's head. A friend of mine made a new face up on her! ^^ And it's amazing:

Even though she got a lovely kimono (made by my mum) aswell, she just wasn't Tiara. But now she has a great home with my friend Anna. She brought her on the 8th of January. ~

So with the money I sold Hani for, and some extra from my account, I brought a Littlefee Bisou (from Fairyland) as Tiara instead, and I'm sure it will be great! I love her. ~

The day after my birthday my two other sisters came to congratulate me, then I got:

So for some of my birthday money I bought Kingdom Hearts 2 (on sale) for PS2. So now I've borrowed a ps2 from my oldest sister so I can play it. ^^v (when I've moved out, gotten myself an apartment, then I'll probably by a PS3 so I can play ps2 games on it aswell. So it's not a waste of money, that game. ^^v But now I have to buy the first Kingdom Hearts, I didn't notice that I brought the second game until I got home, but I don't mind playing the games in the wrong order. I've played the first one before anyways.~)

I had a very quiet and nice birthday this year. ^^

I know this is a very belated blogpost. But I haven't been by my computer, almost at all, the whole christmasbreak, and now school has started again. ~

Anyway, this was my Christmas outfit 2010:

I went a bit over the top with my makeup, false lashes and everything. The funny part was that before I went by the mirror to put on my make up I said to myself "I'll just put on a little.." but then, before I was finished, I had used a whole lot. But it's so much fun putting on makeup, so I got a bit carried away! ~ But it still looks good, doesn't it? ;)

Like so many others I would love to expand my doll family even further.
So this is my wishlist:

Kiddelf Bory = Cyrus, Zoë's childhood friend and room-mate.

~England, new hair, new nails.~

1 o'clock the night between 31st of October and 1st of November I went from my school in Sweden. I reached my hostfamily, here in Christchurch, England, around 21.30 on the 1st.

So now I've been here for almost a week, and I love it here! our hostfamily is great, I love Theresa, Jim and all their animals, William the loving dog, Sandy Mcgregor the cozy cat and the other cat that I always forget the name of, I think it's something like Kenko or so. ^^

I got into the advanced english class at school here. so that feels great. ^^

This is my new haircolour:

Yesterday me and my friend Felicia went to a placed called Lavish here in christchurch and got our nails done. Acrylic nails. ^^

So here are my nails:

After we went to Lavish we went to a place where they did nailart, so that's where I got my sparkly hearts from. ~

Mostly we've been in Christchurch this week, we did try to go to Bornemouth one day, but we got off the bus too early and so we happened to go to Boscome instead. XD but it was nice there aswell, however we will go to Bornemouth this week, and possibly go out dancing in bornemouth next weekend. ^^

~Haircolours and English study~

I already told you that I will go study at CELC in England 1st of November, but now I'm starting to feel that it is really soon, so I'm bringing it up again. It's only a week away! oh my gosh. I'm really nervous, but also exited. ^^
I'll take the information again, I'm going to Christchurch near Bournmouth. And I will be there for about 6 weeks to study English. until 11th of December, that's when I'm going home.
And the really awesome part is that 4th of December, when the Winter International Lolita day is, I will meet up with atleast 3 English Lolitas! I'm really looking forward to that. Ofcourse I'm not going alone, I'm bringing my best friend. (who I gave a pretty Bodyline jsk as an early christmas present!)

And like I said before, I've never been outside of Sweden and I've never traveled by airplane, so the nervous and exited part comes alot from this aswell. But I'm sure I'll have a great time over there. ^^
Oh, right I almost forgot, I'll try to post as much as I can here, when I'm in England, so I can't promise this blog will be entirely about Lolita then, but it's my life, so I'll concentrate on the Life part of the name of my blog, hope that's Ok. ;D

Now to something entirely different..
I've been blond during summer, and now my hair is growing, and I haven't dyed it in awhile. But now I'm wondering if I should try to dye it in a colour closer to my natural one.?

I really like being blond, but after a few weeks or so the roots gets dark and it's just not fun anymore. and it's a troublesome cost, that I don't necissarily need.~

I'm just wondering a bit, thinking.~

I'll probably go for a more natural colour now. It's less expensive, and my hair will probably thank me for it. ^^v But I don't mind if you guys come with any comments on my haircolour anyways. ^^v

1th of October I got my two 88 eyeshadow palettes from Coastal scents. ^^ I got both the ultra shimmer one and the normal(color) one. ^^

I really love them, they are great. so many colours, sometimes it gets hard to choose which colours to match. ^^ but it's alot of fun. however I don't wear makeup every day, so I've only used them a couple of times. but I really really like them. ^^

~14th of October 2010, BJD box-opening, again.~

14th of October I went to a mini BJD-meetup.
And to explain a bit, when me and my sister got our Custom House dolls the weekend before we realized that my doll Pandora actually was Sannas character Stjärna (swedish for Star). So she bought it from me, since I didn't really connect with Pandora myself. And luckily a girl from another part of Sweden was selling a bjd I've wanted for a really long time: a minifee Ryeon. So I sold a doll so I could afford a new one. ^^v

I wore a light green makeup, however it doesn't show much in this photo. XD

9th of October I went to a Lolita gathering. We went to a café, ate some cake and then we took some pictures in the park outside. ^^ It was alot of fun. everyone is so nice and sweet. ^^

After the meetup me and my sister went back to our friend Malin, she was with us to the Lolita meetup, but she's not in the pictures since she doesn't want to be in pictures.

Friday 8th of October I got my long awaited package from Custom House. I've waited for this order for almost 34 weeks! But finally I got my doll a Ange Ai - Hani. ~
My sister also ordered a doll with me, so she's the redhaired girl in the pictures. ^^v

This day I went to a BJD meetup, with some other girls from my area.

It was alot of fun. and we ate alot of tasty sweets.~

This is my yosd doll Pandora, she is a bambicrony Elf Charity. ^^

You might not recognize her from earlier pictures, since she's decided to be blond now. (she used to have brown hair)

Pandora also wanted to eat the yummy cookies.

Pandora and her best friend Odette in matching dresses. (My mum made these dresses, and Odettes dress was a birthday gift for her owner who had her birthday 5 days before this meetup.)

Pandora got her wings! ^^ (she also tried on a pink wig.)

She looks cute in almost anything. XD So I guess I have to buy her a pink wig too sometime. XD

The 2nd of September I went home to my parents place over the weekend and this lovely Metamorphose JSK was at home waiting for me:

I bought it from a friend from south of Sweden, she got if from this years lucky pack! ^^
It's really really pretty, however I think it looks a bit wierd over my bust, the shirring doesn't want to play nice there, (it's probably just in my head) but I think it will work just fine with a bolero/cardigan over it. ^^
I'm really happy with it, I will wear it tomorrow when I'm going back to school again. ^^

I just have to tell everybody that 31th of October I'm going to travel to England. To a place called Christchurch near Bournemouth. And this is where I'll live for 6 weeks while I study English there with some of my classmates from the school I'm attending right now. So I will be there until around 12th of December! Which means that I will be in the UK for the winter international Lolita day, 4th of December! So if anyone from around that area happens to be a Lolita, I would love to attend a Lolita meetup there with you. ^^ I can probably travel to London for a Lolita meet up as well. ^^

I've never been outside of Sweden and I've never traveled by an airplane, so this will be both scary and exiting. But I think that I will have a great time overthere. ^^ I'm looking forward to it. ^^

It was alot of fun opening the doll box for the first time at a local bjd meet-up since they are all really nice and supporting there. ^^ But it was also really funny that while I was opening the box everybody went totaly silent, so I got a bit nervous since noone said anything and just watched what I was doing. XD

This day I went to a local market, which is in the area I live, three days in a row, once a year.

This year I met up with Andrea. (author of Imperial Fiddlesticks)
I guess it's become a little bit of a tradition, or begining to be a tradition, to meet up with her at this specific Local Market every year. ^^ It's a very nice traditon in my opinion. ^^v

Neither of us bought much at the market except for lunch and water/fanta.
However this year the weather was much better, last year it rained so much we had to run and take cover at the apartment I lived in at the time. This year it only came a few drops falling from the sky, and only for a little while. ^^v

Andrea, stunningly pretty as usual. ^^ Her metamorphose dress was also wonderful, and suited her perfectly. ^^
I'm really looking forward meeting her some more this summer. We will meet again at the BJD-meet up we're having 17th of July. (when I will take home my first BJD! Yay! ^^)

~BJD - Ball Jointed Dolls~

I've said before that I really adore BJDs, so I'll give you a small explaination about it.
BJDs are Ball Jointed Dolls, really pretty. You can mostly buy them from asian countrys such as Korea, China, Japan and so on. There are all different kinds of shapes and sizes of them, but most normal sizes are: YOSD = aproxomently 27cm, MSD = ~ 45cm, and SD = ~ 50-60cm.

If you want to know more about it, you can probably just google it. ;D

Now to the dolls I'm waiting for:

However I've been waiting for her 20 weeks allready. >.<>.< (I made my order on 14th of February this year)

~19 June 2010, Victorian era picnic~

I know I've been crazy late with my updates, but I guess when the summer weather comes you just want to be outside and do more fun stuff than just sit by your computer all day. ^^v

But now for the (very late) update:
19th of June I went to a Victorian era picnic, it was alot of fun, allthough the weather could definatly have been better. ^^v

I think the only brand (or sort of brand) things I wore were:
My Baby the stars shine bright necklace
and Bodyline bag, which is a replica of IWs house-bag. ^^

Me and my sisters, and my neice. ^^

My mum made my dress for me, I'm really pleased with it, it's so pretty. ^^

Everyone who showed up. ^^ (exept for my sister Sanna who took the picture.)

Typical english-weather? ;D just kidding. ^^v
At first we sat on the floor inside a house, beacuse of the horrid weather, then we found a dining-room in that house, where we sat for a few hours. Then we went outside to take pictures, then some people left and the rest of us took the picnic outside and after awhile the rain returned, ergo the umbrellas. ^^v

I had a lot of fun, and it was fun with another themed picnic. ^^
We also got to know about an victorian era game called "poor pussy", which was that they sat in a ring/circle, and then one got to be "poor pussy", crawling on all four on the floor, sounding like a sad cat, when that person the "poor pussy" stopped infrot of a person, that person had to say "poor pussy", with a straight face and pat the "poor pussy" on the head. If that person sucseeded with that task, the "poor pussy" had to crawl to a new person, but if the person didn't sucseed and laughed/didn't have a straight face, that person became the new "poor pussy", and so the game continued. ~ It was just some fun facts Tsuyu told us about. ^^

On the international Lolita day I went to a local Lolita picnic. ^^

I curled my hair and wore a hat that my sister Anette made for me. ^^

I've fallen in love with these wonderfully geeky-glasses. ^__^
And I really love when they are in these lovely baby-pastell colours.
I would like those glasses in these colours: baby pink, baby yellow, baby blue, white, black. perhaps in a baby mint green colour too. ^_^

However I have to face the facts, I don't have alot of money, so I don't think I can find a pair of these glasses that I can buy that are with glas that works with my eyes.
So I got the brilliant idea that I could use a pair of these new 3D glasses you get when you go to 3D movies. ^^ And you can colour them in some way so they'll be the colours that you want. ^__^ I would really like to try out that idea some time. I belive alot of girls allready have had that idea and done great. ^^

She's just so cute! ^_^
And the glasses suits her very well. ^^

~15 May 2010 - Outfit of the day.~

Today I was supposed to meet my dear friend Andrea, but she wasn't feeling well, so we had to cancel our meeting. However I was still going into town with my sisters and my niece. ^^
So we wore our Lolita dresses, ate icecream (we really needed it, it was so hot outside. The summer warmth just came overnight a day before or so.) after the icecream we went to see a work in progress of the shortfilm we're in, Name of the movie: Björkpollen of the dead, hopefully they will be done with it this year, but if we're unlucky it will take until next year until it's done. :/ After that me and my sister Sanna went to our friend Malin and had a movie night with her, her boyfriend and our friend Camilla. ^^ it was alot of fun. ^^

So today I went to a Lolita picnic in Umeå, Sweden. The first one this year actually. We are'nt so many, but more than before, and I don't know all of the people who showed up, but my sisters and a friend of mine showed up with me. ^^

It was good weather, and warm enough, allthough it wasn't summer warmth yet. But better than I had hoped for. ^^v

Two of my sisters, Sanna and Anette. (My other sister Klara was also there, she also wore Lolita from Bodyline, like my two sisters on the picture here. ^^)

My friend and classmate Amanda showed up, even though she doesn't wear lolita, or know much about it, she had a very cute outfit, who looked pretty gothic lolita-ish. ^^
(you can also see a few of the other lolitas who showed up, in the background.)

He he, a picture of me and my sister will end the pictures from today. (We were goofing around when we were putting on make up and putting on our dresses. :P )

I didn't take that many good pictures, that's why there are so few, but better than nothing, right? ^^v
I think there was only two people who wore Lolita brand clothing (from Angelic Pretty). But I belive that doesn't matter, I think you can look just as good in Bodyline anyways. (I got a bit angry at a person who was bashing Bodyline when almost everyone there was wearing it. o.O and she wasn't exactly silent about it.) (we sat in two different groups so I couldn't really tell her what I thought, from where I sat.) But I don't really got the energy to care about it, it sucks that she had to be so mean, but I know that you can look amazing both in Brand Lolita clothing and offbrand Lolita clothing. For me it doesn't matter if it's brand or not.

Anyway. I had a nice time, and the weather was nice. ^^ allthough we didn't stay long, the picnic began 13.00, and me, my sisters and a few friends went home around 15.00. But it got a bit cold then and we were all kind of tired so we decided to leave. ^^
So it's sad that the picnic got sort of devided, everyone wasn't really able to talk to everyone there, we sort of got seperated into two groups, like I said. ~ But apart from that, it was a great time. ^^v

This is my lovely new jacket/coat. ^^ I bought it at HM on sale for 200 SEK (Swedish Krona), it was usually sold for 800 SEK. So I'm very pleased. ^^

It was a wierd but funny movie. About teenagers/children who wants to be superheroes and try it for real. with the spandex outfit and secret identitys and all. It was more violent than I had imagined, but also extreamly funny. ^^ If you can stand a little gore and violence, and you like a wierdly funny movie, then this is the one for you. ^^v

Yes, I wore this at school, I don't mind wearing Lolita in public, since I feel that the Lolita fashion is a part of me, I love wearing it, it makes me happy. ^^ And if I don't wear fullblown lolita clothes I atleast wear something lolita-friendly, ordinary clothes but with a touch of lolita. Exept some days when you just don't feel like making an effort, then I wind up in loose pants and a hoodie too, but that's only on "feel-bad-days". ^^v
I also wore this when I went to town to meet my great friend Tova, we met up and ate sushi, (yum!) and after that we went to a café to drink latte. We talked about alot of things but at the end we mostly talked about Lolita. ^^ (She's also a lolita. ^^v) It was a lot of fun! ^^

~Bodyline dress~

I really want to buy this dress, my sister Sanna has it in purple, but I'd like it in green, pink, blue and brown. ^^ (I guess I'll buy it in atleast Pink and Green sometime, hopefully some time soon.) I tried her dress on and it fit perfectly, so that's why I'm eager to buy it. ^^ it suits well with a blouse or just as it is, in summer it will probably be the perfect dress. ^^ the fabric feels so light and the print is just adorable. ^_^
I just wanted to share my new "I-want-to-buy-dress", and I will probably buy it some time when I feel I can spend some money on it. ^^ it's not as expensive as brand dresses so, it dosen't feel impossible. ^^v

I was trying to get a sweet but casual look to wear at school. ~

I know that it's supposed to be a rule against lolitas wearing legwarmers, but try and live in Sweden during winter.. besides, if you make it look good, then it shouldn't be a problem, right? ^^v
You're probably wondering why in the world I'm standing on my bed? well, that's the only place I can stand in my dorm room to get a photo of all of me, by myself. ^^v
(also in Sweden we don't wear shoes inside. ^^v ergo no shoes in the picture. ^^v)
